Cambodian New Year 2025

The Sangha and the Board of Directors of Wat Dhamarangsey cordially invite all families and friends from Buddhist communities to join us in celebrating the Cambodian New Year 2025. Festivities will begin Friday evening, April 11th, and continue through Sunday, April 20th. We will welcome the angel Kimirea Tevy, one of the seven daughters of Kabil Moha Prum, as she arrives to protect humanity from all forms of evil.

09:30 am Pay homage to the Triple Gem, Receive the five precepts

10:00 am Alms round and invitation to recite Dhamma

11:00 am Food offering to the Sangha

12:00 pm Lunch for lay people

12:30 pm Sand Mountain consecration

01:00 pm Buddha statue water blessing

5:00 pm Pay homage (Namasaka) to the Triple Gem. Receive the five precepts and Paritta Chanting (New Year)
